The Father's House Children's Home​

In 2005 Chuck and Connie, Directors of HELPS,  met Victor and Eunice Mwangi, founders of the Fathers House Ministries of Ruiru, Kenya. One of the many wonderful ministries they provide is a home for children. They have been caring for 15 children by providing for all their physical needs, including housing, medical care, food, clothing, etc.

HELPS came alongside and began by providing Christmas each year. New clothing and school uniforms. 2010 Chuck realized that 2 of the Children’s home students had finished school. What was to become of them?  It became apparent that college scholarships were a need. And so HELPS began to send James and Jackie to University.

Then in 2011, another need arose High school education fees.  HELPS, once again join our friends and started sponsoring high school students. 7 children all going to High school at once created another gap that needed to be filled. HELPS is only as good as its partners and donors.

Over the past fifteen years, these kids have become part of the HELPS family. With the help of generous donors like you, a scholarship fund has been set up to allow the kids to continue their education through high school and on to college if they so choose.

 

Thank you for your faithful support! We did it! They began high school most went on to college and the younger children are now finishing primary and on into high school.
